The Polish Day was enjoyable and a successful event with a good attendance of both Polish and other nationalities. The TASTE stand looked good and attracted a lot of interest. We collected details from people interested in a long weekend trip to Torun and those wanting to be notified of TASTE activities.

The majority of those on the long weekend trip list seem to favour Spring 2008.

Click here to view a report in the local Evening Advertiser about the event.

I was also born in Swindon and if you are involved with the Polish Community here there is never a dull moment. We live like one big happy family and there is always something happening. Swindon was lacking in many things for a number of years and the architecture was dreadful, but things are improving now. We are in a good position, with Bath and Oxford and even London within easy reach. We have beautiful country side around us such as the Cotswolds and I am happy with my life here.

W ramach współpracy miast partnerskich pragniemy przyjechać do Swindon, by nawiązać współpracę z organizacjami pozarządowymi i samorządem Swindon, aby w przyszłości realizować wspólny projekt dotyczący wymiany informacji i pomysłów w celu wzajemnego poznania obu miast, realizacji rozwiązywania problemów społecznych i budowania społeczeństwa obywatelskiego.
Nie muszą to być organizacje kobiet, ale takie, które sa u Was i mogą podzielić się z nami tym, co robią. Interesuje jak rozwiązujecie problemy społeczne a szczególnie problemy rodzin.

I was born in Swindon. Too many cars and roads and not enough community feel.
